In-Home Physician Visit

DRIPS provide our users the opportunity to consult with a live physician in the comfort of their homes. We have thousands of board-certified physicians that you can select from. A green color indicator will let you know if they are online and available to consult with you. These doctors are usually within 5-10mile radius from you, providing prompt access to health care.

We offer 2 types of in-home visits:

• On demand visit: This service will allow you to request the physician on the day you need them. There are no membership or subscription requirements and it is usually the most used service to address your immediate health need.
• Scheduled visit: This service allows you to schedule a visit in the future at a convenient time. You will be able to schedule such visits like Ante-natal care, Mammograms, Vaccinations and other minor procedures approved by DRIPS. (When logged in on the website, the user will be able to use an electronic calendar available on the side to schedule this future visit with an expected time of arrival of the physician selected).

STEP 1: Log into your DRIPS app and select in home visit

STEP 2: Fill out the complaint card and attach any necessary media.

STEP 4:  Choose a doctor from the list provided on your screen and then click on the “request this doctor tab”. The app will search for the nearest available doctor. The app can also filter a doctor of your preference e.g. by language spoken or years of experience.

STEP 5: You will be directed to a payment page where your ATM card details will be entered. If you already have a saved card or you are a premium member, this page will be skipped.

STEP 6: Once your card goes through, the doctor is notified about your consult request, then he begins to head your way. Typically, it will take around 20-30mins for arrival, but the Doctor will notify you if there are unexpected delays.

STEP 7: Once the doctor arrives at your home, you are to provide a comfortable chair and table with room for a lap top computer.

After the consultation, the doctor closes your chart on the computer at which point you will be charged.
