Who can use drips ?

Anyone over the age of 18 with a smart phone and access to the internet

Will I be charged to download the Drips App ?

No, the App is free and available on the Play store for both Android and Apple software. However, users can upgrade to access prime features

Are the Drips Doctors available 24hrs ?

Yes, our doctors are available round the clock providing you reliable health care service over the phone and home visit upon request.

Do you do video consultations ?

No we are not doing any video calls at this time, however we have a media interaction feature on the diagnostic phone call service that allows you share recorded videos or pictures with the doctor.

How much do you charge for home consultation ?

We charge between $30 to $60 (approx,N15,000 – N40,000) for a new in-home consultation and $10 -$20 for a follow up visit, excluding cost of labs or medications. However, you won’t be charge for electronic review of your lab results by your doctor, who can communicate the results with you via the app.

How much do you charge for Diagnostic phone call?

$5 (approx,N1,500)

Can I add my children on my account ?

Yes, you can add up to 5 children under 18 years old on your account for free, thereafter we will charge you ($USD 5.00) for any subsequent child added. For example, if you have 8 children, your initial registration will cost you $15 (i.e. $5 per child for the 3 extra children)

Will I be charged immediately after requesting a doctor on the App ?

No, you will only be charged when the doctor determines the consult is complete, that way you are charged after service.

Do you accept cash payment ?

No, we only accept payment with ATM/Debit/Credit card via the app.

What happens when I submit my payment ?

Once you submit your card details on the app, you will be granted access to the Doctor you have selected to see you or speak to you. For diagnostic phone calls, you will be able to call the doctor through the app. For the in-home visits, your card will only be charged after the doctor completes the encounter with you in your home. However, if you cancel after 15minutes of requesting the doctor, your card will be charged 20% of the consultation fee.

What if the call cuts off while I am talking to the doctor, will I be charged again to conclude that encounter ?

No, once that encounter has been initiated, you will have unlimited number of call backs until the doctor closes it.

Will the Drips Doctors carry out any special procedures ?

Unless requested, the only invasive procedure approved by DRIPS during the in-home visit is blood draw which will be sent to the lab for analysis. These results will be available to you when you log in to your account.

How long will it take for my prescription medications to be delivered ?

For acute problems, we strive to have your medications delivered within 24hrs. For chronic problems like Diabetes or Hypertension, your medications will be delivered within 2-3 business days.

What is the cost of delivering my medications at home ?

It is free for prime app users who request their prescription from the DRIPS app, otherwise we charge a delivery fee of $5 (N1,500).

Can I request a doctor who speaks my language ?

Yes, we have a filter button in the physician directory page which will allow you search for a doctor who speaks your native language.

Can I request a Drips doctor for emergency services ?

No, all our consults are outpatient encounter’s that do not require any emergency intervention, as such we do not accept emergency consults.
